Events in Preveza 2027: Choir Festival, Jazz Festival and Summer Dates
Preveza's two big annual festivals, with the dates their organisers have announced: the International Choral Festival in July and the free jazz festival on the seafront in late spring.

Two festivals bring performers from abroad to Preveza every year: an international choir festival with a competition in July, and a jazz festival on the seafront in late spring. Below are the dates the organisers have announced. We add new dates as they come out.
International Choral Festival of Preveza: 8–11 July 2027
The Armonia Choral Society of Preveza founded the festival in 1983 and still organises it. At its heart is the International Choral Competition, with categories for mixed, equal-voice, youth and children's choirs, for sacred and contemporary music, and for choirs of singers over 60.
The organiser lists the 45th festival for 8–11 July 2027; the programme may still change. The 44th festival ran from 6 to 12 July 2026. That year the concerts were held at the municipal garden theatre "Giannis Ritsos", the competition at the Spiritual Centre of the Metropolis, with performances at the marina and in Dikastirion and Androutsos squares, and the closing ceremony at the Roman Odeon of ancient Nicopolis.

Preveza Jazz Festival: late May
The Preveza Jazz Festival started in 2003 and takes place at the port, on the seafront pedestrian street, with free entry. It is organised by the non-profit Preveza Jazz Festival together with the Regional Unit and the Municipality of Preveza.
The 24th festival ran from 29 to 31 May 2026. The 2027 dates have not been announced yet.

Sardine festival
Tourism listings place Preveza's sardine festival in August, but they disagree on the date, and we have not found an announcement from the Municipality of Preveza. We will add it here once it is announced.
