About Explore Preveza

Explore Preveza is an independent guide to Preveza and its Ionian coast, from Preveza town up to Parga, made by people who live here. It covers beaches, sights, day trips and practical information for visitors. We want it to be the most useful and accurate guide to the area.

How we research

• Only real, checked places. Every entry is a real place we have verified against public sources: OpenStreetMap, official sites, Wikipedia, and reputable travel and news sources. Each page links to the source it was checked against.
• No invented details. We don't make up phone numbers, prices, opening hours or "insider tips". If we can't confirm something, we leave it out.
• Local review. Entries are reviewed by locals and corrected when something changes.
• Maps and distances come from OpenStreetMap data and are measured from Preveza town centre.

Photos

We use our own photos or freely licensed ones (Creative Commons BY / BY-SA, or public domain), mostly from Wikimedia Commons. The photographer, the licence and a link to the original are shown under every photo.

Independence and listings

Beaches, sights and public information are listed because they're worth visiting, never because someone paid. In the future local businesses will be able to advertise. Paid placements will always be clearly labelled and kept separate from our recommendations.
