Privacy Policy

Explore Preveza respects your privacy. We collect as little as possible, and we never sell personal data.

Analytics

We measure visits with Umami, privacy-friendly analytics that we host ourselves. It uses no cookies and doesn't track you across sites. It records only aggregate information: pages viewed, referring site, browser, device type and country. We can't identify individual visitors from it.

Cookies

The public site sets no cookies. The editors' login area uses one strictly necessary session cookie, and only for editors who sign in.

Forms

When you suggest a place or send us a message, we store what you type in the form, including your email address or phone number if you give one. We use it only to review your suggestion and reply to you. Messages are deleted once they've been dealt with, and in any case within 12 months.

Server logs

Like every website, our servers briefly keep technical logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and to fix errors. These logs are rotated automatically.

Maps and photos

Maps are served from our own server (OpenStreetMap data). Viewing a map doesn't send your data to a map provider. The "Get directions" button opens Google Maps, which is covered by Google's privacy policy.

Advertising

We may show advertising in the future. If we add any advertising that uses cookies or personal data, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete any personal data you sent us. Use our contact form and we'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
